The International Day of Woman is just around the corner and as March is celebrated as Women's History Month, let’s talk to our students about women’s achievements. This resource will help you develop your students’ awareness about the impact of women in History through a wide variety of games, videos, songs and projects. It is quite flexible to work with students from different levels/age groups.

It consists of a powerpoint with 40 slides and its activity booklet for students with 17 pages:

- a brainstorming about the topic with words as a support
- a video about main female figures in the world
- a mini quiz about what the International Women day is about with a reading about its origin and purpose
- other female figures and their inventions to match up
- a quiz about some important events and women (voting, amendment, bills etc.)
- a song celebrating woman's achievement (Roar by Katy Perry)
- a thinking slide about advantages/drawbacks to be a man/woman
- advertising about women and discrimination
- information about the Suffragettes and more descriptions about exceptional women
- a text about Aung San Suu Kyi (life and achievement)
- a group project
- a guess game activity
- a review of objectives
