World Cup 2026 Fun activities bundle

Fun series of ativities that focus on the venues and participants in this year’s World Cup finals.

Introductory lesson which includes a stater on the history of world cup winners. Main activities in the lesson are Atlas based locating all 48 competing countries. This then progresses to locating the host cities in all three countries, along with photographs of the venues to allow the creation of a World Cup poster.

The bundle includes 48 playing cards, one for each country that includes development factors, area, FIFA ranking and previous appearances at World Cup finals. These cards can be used to play a standard stand alone card game for two or more pupils, or can be used individually to “Play the world cup” where sudents use the information on the cards to play all the matches through the group stages and the knock out stages to see who will win the World Cup.

Other activities include World Cup bingo cards. A wordsearch for all 48 countries participating, a factfile for each country followed by a “Nickname” search activity and a 20 question quiz.

There are also World Cup posters available for colouring.

All resources and answers to the activities are provided within the bundle, so there is nothing for you to do yourself.
