A introduction lesson to world issues (poverty, prejudice, crime, punishment). This can be taught as part of a mini unit of work prior to GCSE (at KS3) to prepare students for future learning or can be taught at GSCE. See my resources for other lessons (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/leanaandrews).

The lesson aims to teach students about key Christian teachings and how they can be applied/used to help when dealing with world issues. Students will use a range of skills, this lesson focuses on developing interpersonal skills and skills of analysis and investigation. In this lesson students learnt about these four key Christian teachings - the Ten Commandments, the golden rule, the Parable of the Good Samaritan and the Parable of the Lost Son.
