World Mental Health Day PSHE lesson resource. The lesson looks at the theme of why mental health should be considered as a universal right, what world mental health day is, why it is important for us to focus on mental health, how to discuss mental health and strategies for maintaining good mental health.

This is an easy to follow power point lesson (no prior planning, printing or preparation required . The resource is designed to be delivered as one 60 minute session but all of our resources are fully editable and designed to allow sections to be added, removed or changed should you need to do so.

No previous knowledge in the subject area is needed, the lesson is easily deliverable by someone who is not a subject specialist or an experienced PSHE teacher. Meets current UK PSHE guidance*. Be aware the topic of this resource might not meet the most recent World Mental Health Day theme.
