Notebook progression of skills of written multiplication revisiting partitioning skills then using grid method and long multiplication.
The notebook includes a dice game which can be presented either in their books or on a sheet of blank grids (also provided).
For grid method, we did lots of practical examples using dienes and whiteboards and then moved on to pre-drawn grids which they drew the dienes in the right boxes.
There are two maths investigations included for extending and deepening understanding.
