Each day has four tasks in Support, Core and Challenge versions. Support uses smaller numbers and practical responses. Core revisits key number skills. Challenge includes missing numbers, flexible partitioning and explanations.

Skills covered

Use for morning work, lesson starters, retrieval practice or targeted intervention after teaching the relevant skill. Display a slide for whiteboard or book responses, or print a pupil page. Allow around 5–10 minutes and adjust to your class.

Some pupils using Support will need an adult to read or model a task. They can respond with counters, pointing or speech.
