Year 3 Subtraction Complete Unit

This whole unit of work is perfect for developing mental subtraction methods using knowledge of place value and the introduction of written methods. The resources are progressive and gradually move on from mental methods, to using practical resources alongside place value grids to introducing the expanded column method and then a more formal written method.
