What’s inside: This 14-page maths pack takes kids into Dr Iris’s spooky Eyeball Lab to master square numbers, cube numbers and square roots. It starts with an Adult Toolkit for the grown-up, with worked examples and teaching tips for squaring, cubing, square roots and order of operations, plus a 45-minute session plan. The Eyeball Lab Toolkit page gives kids fact strips and the mistakes to watch for. Then come four creepy eyeball sheets: Square Eyes (Bronze), Cube Eyes (Silver), Root Eyes (Gold) and mixed Boss Eyes. There’s also a 12-question 11+ multiple-choice Eye-Q Test and an Eye Spy Code Breaker, whose code key catches common slips.
