A set of ten maths tests, to last approximately 20 minutes, using past SATs questions. The tests cover all National Curriculum areas, and assess children working at the Year 6 Expected Standard. Questions include more accessible, and more challenging questions in a style similar to those of the National Tests. Tests 9 and 10 are marginally more challenging for children, and all tests offer opportunities for problem solving and reasoning.
The resource could be used weekly to monitor progress of Year 6 pupils,or more regularly as general practice or revision in weeks leading up to SATs. They can be used to identify gaps in children's knowledge and to use as a basis from which to plan intervention.
