This is my year 7 textiles project in which they make a calico drawstring bag which is painted with thermochromic paint. It is 13 lessons long. The resources include the PPT, all 3 homework sheets, teacher assessment sheets and worksheets.
Pupils learn about health and safety, smart materials, block printing, fabrics, product anaysis, different stitches on the machine and by hand and the overlocker.
There are starters and plenaries included for most lessons.
