Scheme of work that lasts for 20 x 1 hr lessons. Relatively low cost timber and acrylic project where year 7 students design and manufacture a keyholder. The project starts with the pupils designing plywood and acrylic keyrings and then this leads into the main project where knowledge is interleaved, recalled and applied.
Assessment takes place in Designing, manufacturing and evaluating- and the criteria can be adapted for your own school systems.
