A fun and engaging scheme of six to seven lessons intended to introduce Year 9 students to the process of devising, through the stimulus of 'Gangs'. This scheme is complete with all PowerPoints and resources.
The lessons cover a terms worth of work ( 6-7 lessons minimum but it could easily be extended). Each lesson has a slide at the start, summarising the content of each lesson for teachers and students. Information and guidance on how to deliver the lesson is in the notes section of the PowerPoint, with guidance on how to use the resources in this pack also. There is also a milestone at the end of the SOL for 'testing' students work and progress.

The opening slides are fine which cover the first 2 lessons but then it becomes replicated, doesn't develop as expected.
This is an engaging SOW that can be adapted and used for all KS3 classes. The PowerPoint presentations are useful and well organised. Some of the word document resources need to be better explained but otherwise a brilliant resource and I would recommend it!
