Everything Year 9 students need to revise for end-of-year maths exams: a one-page mind map for each of seven units, and a self-assessment checklist for six of them.
What’s included:
• Seven mind maps, one A4 page each: Number, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Measurement, Geometry, Statistics and Probability. Each sorts the unit by type of question, with the steps, a worked example and the common mistake to avoid.
• Six self-assessment checklists, 11 to 18 pages each: Number, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Measurement, Geometry and Probability. 35 objectives, each with an example question and a worked answer at every level from Emerging to Exceeding, so students can check themselves honestly. Each checklist also has a vocabulary page with pictures, a progress tracker and a unit reflection.
• A one-page Start here guide for teachers.
Every file comes in colour and in black and white for photocopying. The checklists are Word files you can edit, with PDFs to print; the mind maps are PDFs.
Pairs with Year 9 Maths Practice Exams A and B, which use the same five levels.
School licence: every teacher and student at one school may use and copy these files, including on your school’s learning platform. Please don’t share them outside your school.
