A classroom cover lesson aimed at Year 9 based on Dennis Kelly’s play ‘DNA’. full slides included, with timings. It asks students to consider forensic evidence, then analyse a short piece of text and to produce some creative writing based on the opening sections of the play.
No additional resources needed. Full instructions are on the slides. Students will need a device to complete the written tasks but they are completely doable on paper as well.
Suitable for a non-specialist teacher or cover supervisor, as well as a Drama specialist.
