Year 7 RE Lesson: Zakat – Why Is Giving to Charity Important in Islam?

This lesson introduces pupils to Zakat, the third Pillar of Islam. Students learn why Muslims give 2.5% of their savings to help those in need and how this practice strengthens faith and community.
