I was recently made redundant due to the closure of my school (Sept 2016). Previous to this I was a teacher of PE 11-18, I had acted as HoD and was 2nd in Dept. However, my main role was the Head of KS4. During this time I was responsible for all aspects concerning ks4 including data, pastoral issues, behaviour and intervention. I had particular success with bringing the team of staff and tutors together in a very difficult time to support our student s in achieving a significantly better progress 8 score than our other site. I am very confident with Ict, creating the leavers books, making a video of my y7 history classes battle of Hastings performance as well as training my department in the use of iPad's in PE. Moreover I have been heavily involved in itt in PE as well as other subject areas. I am looking to progress my career into senior leadership now. I am always looking for ways to improve, something I bring into every area of my work.
