Really nice resource overall but I think you are setting up your students for poor algebraic notation (when multiplying a bracket the number should be in front of the bracket, and when dividing you should put it in a fraction and not use the divide sign).

Worksheet for Simplifying Algebraic Expressions-Algebraic Notation. This worksheet was made for my class which is the bottom maths class, to help them do work without being overwhelmed.

Thank you - Very helpful in introducing Algebra.
Pupils have to match up the expression to the worded description. There are some expressions missing which they have to write from the worded description. Good for an introduction to algebraic notation or as revision for weaker pupils.

It's fantastic that so much high quality content is available free of charge. For those of us with woefully underresourced departments, it's a godsend. Thank you!
A brief PowerPoint breaking down all the terminologies with a card match activity. The PP includes Learning Objectives for whole lesson, this is just my first part for Identify the concepts and vocabulary of expressions, equations, formulae, identities, inequalities, terms and factors.
