Thank you.
A full lesson on simplifying and dividing into ratios - drag and drop starter to demonstrate how equivalent ratios work. Activity for dividing into ratio uses multi-link cubes (or counters etc..) as a practical resource to physically share out the numbers into different ratios. Questions include angles and money. Includes investigation on colouring grids in certain ratios - which will work, which will not and why

Another great hands-on resource from this user. Thanks very much for sharing.
Three sections - first asks pupils to colour a set of counters in a given ratio, second asks for basic ratios (no units) to be simplified and the third leads pupils through unitary method to solve proportion problems.

Fantastic for my students
Students firstly try the ratios worksheet which has an Alice in Wonderland theme! These worksheets begin with simplifying ratios, then move on to using, writing and dividing ratios. They are differentiated by ability, with bronze being the simplest and gold being the most challenging. Following this, students move on to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party worksheet, where they must use the ratios provided by Johnny Depp to design his tea party table! This involves lots of drawing, and so appeals to the visual learners within the classroom.

An excellent set of differentiated worksheets on ratios, well presented. The Mad Hatter's tea party task is a nice extension too and would make good display work. Thanks for sharing.
