A revision booklet used for Saturday school focused on Literature Paper 1 (Macbeth and Jekyll and Hyde). Booklet contains: Key context notes for both texts. Key quotations from both texts with room to write interpretations. Guidance on how to respond to exam questions. Assessment objectives for Literature. Example essays for Macbeth and Jekyll and Hyde. Two Macbeth exam questions. Two Jekyll and Hyde exam questions.

A scheme of work covering each chapter of Dickens’ Great Expectations part 1 (up until Pip leaves for London). Used with higher ability KS3 classes. Covers a range of reading and writing skills.

A non fiction task 13 page booklet using 3 war and conflict themed extracts: Statement against war by Siegfried Sassoon Happy to see a heater: at Al Jaleel camp, Syria by Amy Christian ‘The British Army is your Army’ From the British Army website. Contains comprehension and analysis questions for each extract. Provides ‘I do’ model for each extract and room for ‘We do’ and ‘You do’. Ideal for use alongside war/conflict themed novel or poetry study or for use as a cover work booklet.

A PowerPoint of 7 lessons covering the descriptive writing aspect of the new AQA Language exam. Covers a range of descriptive features that can be used to answer Q5 of Paper 1.

3 revision lessons for Romeo and Juliet. Lesson 1- general revision of plot and key quotations. Lesson 2- making references to prologue. Lesson 3- key scene analysis.

PPT and resources for teaching Susan Hill's Woman in Black. Originally used with second set Y11. Plenty of lessons exploring the themes and ideas of novel with analysis of key devices used by Hill.

PPT for KS3 Superheroes themed unit of work. Reading and Writing skills addressed throughout.
