Presente e imperfecto / present and imperfect tense
Three activities to revise the presente and imperfect tense.
I started the lesson with a match-up activity with pictures of staff when they were small and now, next to each picture a sentence in the present or in the imperfect tense.
Taco Activity. In groups or in pairs, they had a copy of the taco laminated sheet and with a highlighter they have to highlight the translation of the verb that I say in English.
Roll the dice and translate the sentences.
I did this activity with the pictures of staff from the starter. They had to use 1 paper for the baby picture and describe it using the imperfect tense and the recent picture to describe the teacher in the presente. They folded an A4 paper and stuck the pictures inside then cut strips so you can open and see the picture.
