Clear Sky provide Play and Creative Arts Therapy in schools. With the return to school just around the corner and after a long few dark months of children being at home, we are delighted to have created our 95 page Parents Play Kit to help families to support a child’s emotional wellbeing throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and beyond. Throughout the resource, you can expect to find tools that support with communication with little ones, to best help them process challenging feelings. You’ll then find games that can strengthen the relationship between parent/carer and your child, as well as encouraging them to have lots of fun! Many of the documents are also designed to be standalone resources. This e-book will help parents to • Learn practical techniques, tips and games to do with their child at home • Explore and share creative ways to support their child’s emotional and mental wellbeing • Connect and bond with their child The 95-page kit has been developed by our team and is packed full of creative games and resources which were especially created by our ‘Head of Therapeutic Thinking’ dramatherapist Becky Hill.

The 7 Myths of Children's Mental Health

(0)
Having worked with hundreds of children as a Play and Creative Arts Therapeutic Charity, we have come across a number of myths about children’s mental health that we need to dispel. This essential guide is aimed at teachers, parents and professionals and aims to underpin the understanding of those working to improve long term outcomes for children. Out of a list of over 50 common myths, our team have come up with a narrowed down list of 7 to create this handy guide to understanding children’s mental health, emotions and behaviour. We believe that all parents, teachers and professionals working with children need to be aware of these myths to understand the reality of child mental health.
