Extension tasks pack for key stage 3

(1)
My version of a great idea seen on twitter. A generic pack of extension tasks for key stage 3 students. I have laminated, cut and bundled them together with a treasury tag. I keep them at the front of my room in a folder stapled to the wall so students can help themselves.

These are the first 5 lessons, including power points and all resources needed, of a unit entitled ‘Historical Whodunnit’. These lessons are about the assassination of JFK and can be taught as part of the wider unit or as a stand alone enquiry. The unit was designed for year 8 students.

These can be laminated, cut out and a safety pin attached to create badges. Students can then wear them during a group task to keep them focused on their role. There are enough badges for 7 groups.

These can be laminated, cut out and held together with a treasury tag. They give students guidance on how to do generic Humanities activities such as write a letter or a newspaper article. Great to support key stage 3 students.
