A Power Point used to introduce new year 7 pupils to secondary school. The slides run through some of the main differences between primary school and secondary school. The later slides contain a variety of quick activities that can be used as ice breakers for a new group of pupils/form class getting to know each other.
Revision mat containing the topic content for the AQA homeostasis and response topic. Higher content is clearly labelled. I gave this to my classes at the start of the topic to aid with independent working skills throughout lessons but also acted as a great revision tool and as an information sheet to base quiz questions from at the start of each lesson.

I have used this zone board with many classes to help manage behaviour. It works will with both high and low ability classes across a whole range of age groups. Works best if laminated.
Each pupil should have their name written onto one of the cards included these can be laminated and stuck (velcro dots works well) onto the zone board.
Instructions for the zone board are included. Pupils start of green every lesson and move down the colours accordingly. The zone board should be displayed at the front of a classroom and acts as a visual reminder to the pupils of how they have been working.
There is space on the instructions for each pupil to sign and agree to the zone board rules.
KS3 Revision activity. Includes all of the following topics: Matter, Forces, Ecosystems, Energy, Reactions, Organisms, Earth, Waves, Genes and Electromagnets, Maths for Scientists.
At the start of the lesson pupils use bubble diagram to write down all they can remember from the topic. Then use the knowledge brain spill to condense all key points covered in each of the topics either in note/diagram form. At the end of the lesson revisit the bubble diagram to see progress from lesson. (could use another colour pen at the end of the lesson).
Could be used by higher ability and lower ability or as a group work activity. Can be edited to include questions to focus revision for lower ability.

Flashcards can be printed and cut out for pupls to answer on reverse.
