These gorgeous shape activities support learners with the knowledge of different shapes, using matching skills of various difficulties. These are a great bundle of resources, focusing on the sounds of CVC words. Find the initial sounds, the middle sounds and the end sounds, encouraging children to really listen to the sounds in the words. CVC read and copy supports reading and writing, sounding out and blending the word and forming letters to copy the word, looking and letter and word shapes. CVC sound and spell activity is an extension activity which encourages children to look at the picture and say what they can see, sounding out the word for spelling.
