As the textbook isn’t great, I some resources to combine with working on the textbook. This is a particularly challenging topic on the textbook, so what’s on this ppt starts reviewing sport and adds some difficulty afterwards. I did not follow the textbook much when teaching this topic. On my online shop you will find most of the textbook topics belonging to this spec.

A ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 1.1 Cosas que me molan from the Viva 3 rojo textbook. You will find plenty of vocabulary for students to be able to give opinions on stuff they like and dislike and why (to stretch high attainers), adding recycled language from previous years (free-time activities) on top of what the textbook offers. Ppt contains vocab sheets if you print these for your ss; vocab tests and ideas to put all skills into practice. It covers the present tense regular and main irregulars, and contains slides to practise all these. Check out the notes pane on each slide - often you will find instructions to tasks.

A super straightforward lesson devised to teach how to talk about past holidays annswering to the questions when, where, how, who with, etc and using the verb “ir” in all its forms in the preterite tense. Activities included: a starter, plenary with MWBs, speaking, dice game to revise grammar, a quick reading and a writing. It includes a lesson plan that you can follow to make your life easier.

A lesson on Unit 9 “nuestro planeta” from the Mira GCSE rojo which can basically be used with any textbook to cover the topic of environment and environmental problems. Activities included in the bundle: starter, quiz-quiz trade for plenary, and extended reading with grammar activities on “se deberia” and a detailed lesson plan to help with organising the lesson.

Mira 3 rojo - Module 4.1 Mi dinero from Unit 4 “Ganarse la vida”. A 33-slide ppt that includes: a range of varied activities created to support the textbook, 2 vocabulary tests, an extended reading activity. Tasks are made to challenge students of high ability. Look at the bottom notes of each slide, sometimes you’ll find info about tasks.

A resource for pupils taking the Edexcel Spanish IGCSE 9-1 exam to train their grammar skills so that they can tackle the 10-point question with confidence and success. A grammar exercise (30 in total) per every single textbook topic (30 topics in total), covering the grammar points that come up in each topic. Answers at the end of the booklet. Includes 2 practice tests (non-topic related), with answers too. 32 exercises in total, answers at the end of the document. Perfect revision resource to do with year 11s before they go on study leave.

Unit 3.2 from mira express 1

Materials to compliment the first four pages of the AQA AS level textbook on tradiciones y costumbres. Some of the tasks have been adapted to the textbook, inspired on other resources and others are just made up. It includes an introduction to the present subjunctive with a few activities to practise within the context of festivals. It also includes a reading and a listening on bullfighting which is a topic thats not on the textbook but that i find particularly key to touch up on. See notes at the bottom of every slides as you will find instructions, solutions to exercises etc.
