A resource created for pupils taking the Edexcel Spanish IGCSE 9-1 exam to train their grammar skills so that they can tackle the 10-point question with confidence and success. This bundle was specifically created for a very able, top set - good news is that it’s easily adaptable and so you can tweak it to your own pupils’ needs. The ppt includes 8 grammar questions (including a range of tenses such as present continous, imperfect tense, present subjunctive) and a cheat sheet for each of them to give pupils the chance to get extra support to look should they need it. Topics are: Los viajes escolares Los planes de futuro Las normas del instituto Mi infancia y adolescencia La vida en un pais hispanohablante El medio ambiente El trabajo voluntario La tecnologia I personally have done these questions with my year 11s before the final mocks and towards the end of the year, before they go on study leave.

A 30’ lesson I created (for an interview that got me the job) on healthy living for a Year 10 class, but that can easily be adapted to any other year group. Activities included: a lesson plan, a quick starter and plenary, a reading and a quiz-quiz trade that can be used as AfL.

This resource includes a slide ppt presentation I prepared to teach the new Edexcel International GCSE 9-1 for my Year 4 (10) group. As the textbook isn’t great, I created many extra resources to combine with working on the textbook. That includes introduction of new tenses, among others. What’s included: resources for Unit 3: The world around us, which at the same time includes activities for section: 3H Travel and transport --> subsections 3H.1 and 3H.2 are included, and a few bits on 3H.3 because I skipped most of it due to its difficulty. 4 activities designed to introduce how to describe siblings in terms of saying what their names and age are and to show students how to give a short opinion on them. This is to be used, ideally, after teaching children how to say how many siblings they have, and whether they’re older or younger. The document includes a dialogue for students to put in order, a quick vocab task based on words from said dialogue, and a collaborative listening tasks for students to be the speakers. Students will be able to create their own dialogue by the end of the lesson.

Life-saving and fun group project that can serve as revision or can help your students familiarise themselves with typical KS3 and KS4 topics for those last weeks of the year where our students are tired and lack focus. Tried and tested, it works wonders with language students! I have the English version available on my page, if you teach ESL. AIMS OF THE PROJECT: To create an imaginary city following 7 different steps with the support of 7 activity templates and a map. Students will then put together the history, traditions, buildings, political & sustainability programme, etc of their city in a podcast episode for their teacher and classmates to listen to. This is a group project; recommended number of students per group is 3. THIS BUNDLE CONTAINS (IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE):  The instruction sheet your students must follow.  7 templates to print off and give to each of your groups.  A podcast template.  Instructions on how to create a podcast.  An outline of the city to be printed in A3 format.  An infographic to be able to give directions.  Stickers to be printed off and stuck on the project folders.  An assessment rubric (based on a 10-point scale). IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER TO HELP YOU WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE PROJECT:  This project touches upon abilities and contents applicable to a range of levels, topics and specific grammatical points (e.g. first and second conditionals).  The project is easily adaptable to your students’ needs, and you can skip some of the parts in this bundle and/or add others.  This project was planned for groups of 3-4 students, and to take up to 6 teaching periods of 50 minutes each.  You should provide your students with 2 templates (A3) of the city map so that they can do a rough design of their own city before they submit the final version.  Upon finishing the project, students will ideally fill in a questionnaire where they assess their own individual and group contribution, as well as provide the other groups with feedback (and maybe pick their top 3 city projects!). You can easily do this via google forms (form not included on this bundle). TOPICS COVERED: city/town vocabulary: places in town, directions, descriptions. environment politics (basic) festivals (special occasions, traditions) students will be practising GCSE topics without realising it!
