A resource created for pupils taking the Edexcel Spanish IGCSE 9-1 exam to train their grammar skills so that they can tackle the 10-point question with confidence and success. This bundle was specifically created for a very able, top set - good news is that it’s easily adaptable and so you can tweak it to your own pupils’ needs. The ppt includes 8 grammar questions (including a range of tenses such as present continous, imperfect tense, present subjunctive) and a cheat sheet for each of them to give pupils the chance to get extra support to look should they need it. This bundle includes a 100 slide ppt presentation with activities based mainly on the textbook but also a lot of additional stuff created by me, as well as 3 worksheets created by me or inspired on different sources (such as news articles). What’s included: resources for Unit 1: Everyday life at home and school, which at the same time includes activities for section: 1B School Life and Routine --> 1B.1 Asi es mi dia en el insti; 1B.2 Mi dia escolar; 1B.3 En la pista de atletismo del insti; 1B.4 LLa vida escolar. It comes with two extra lists of vocabulary for students to revise, and two versions of vocabulary tests to be done at the end of every-subsection, and overall a good range of activities that train the 4 skills, and grammar. I have also attached the list of vocabulary provided by the textbook for the Unit 1 Everyday life at home and school, corresponding to sections 1A to 1D, ALREADY FILLED IN WITH THE TRANSLATIONS for students to use as revision if you dont want to spend time from the lesson/homework to get them to write them down. A very simple lesson containing 5 mini-activities to do in pairs based around 2 TV guides to exploit this type of authentic text. It’s highly based on the textbook but extending it. It also includes a British TV guide example to work on speaking. As this is done towards the end of the module, I’ve included 2 noughts and crosses sheets for students to do in pairs and thus review vocabulary from module 2.3 Prefiero las comedias. PPT contains a total of 8 slides (1 of them being the answer sheet to the noughts and crosses game).
