Another fantastic Pixar short film with a strong underlying message about bullying, fairness, kindness and returning things that are not yours. This film allows for the teacher to challenge students with some ethical questions while being engaged in a fun literacy activity which is highly visual to cater for all learning needs. Including cloze passage, first to last order, crossword, lots of coloured pictures, short sentence writing and the ability to add and remove sections that suit the needs of your students.

This coming of age film is based on real events that took place in a California juvenile detention centre. Starring The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) this film is engaging and entertaining (i have found it particularly useful in engaging boys in literacy tasks). I have developed this booklet to be used in conjunction with watching the film. It contains a wide variety of tasks that can be modified if you wish to suit the needs fo individual students or a whole class. Including crossword, labelling tasks, many high detailed pictures taken directly from the film, cloze passage tasks and a combination of response options to suit all learning needs.
