Verb: Transfunglobulate = Over explaining things :-)

Transfunglobulate: "Means to make something which ought to have been simple much less uncomplicated by way of not leaving it simple but going on and on about it to the extent that it is no longer simple but unnecessarily and boringly complexified without need" If you know the origin of this "sentence", please let me know. I memorised it as a kid, but have never seen it since!

Kids' car games and activities

Sometimes on a long trip, you want to give your kids an activity that doesn't mean shoving an iPad under their nose or a computer game. These activities are very simple and can help your kids fill in time on a long trip. Either in a car or for all the kids on a school bus, these games are simple, fun and keep them occupied - at least for a little while.

Sometimes, you simply need a quick quiz without having to make it up yourself, and you ALWAYS want a way to mark them painlessly. Here is a quiz of 20 questions based on Junior Chemistry Also supplied is page 2 - marking guide. Print off (only one copy) of this page and slide under the answer sheet and tick off correct answers, or I’ve seen some cut out holes and use it as a guide sheet over each paper - simply to allow for quick and easy marking.

The Endocrine System: Lesson powerpoint template

This was developed for a year 9 class in NSW to introduce the Endocrine system. This should only be part of a well planned lesson. Having a powerpoint is useful to me as a backdrop only to keep a lesson flowing and organised. Drop me some feedback please!
