French in a Nutshell is a series of short educational videos to understand how the French language works (followed by some tasks). The majority of these videos are voiceless so that they can be used in classrooms and/or without sound. This worksheet/video tackles regular -re verbs in French, with 3 following-up tasks in the video https://youtu.be/4QPFMoMVHdM. The video can be used as a medium for teaching (pausing it to explain further, or to have the pupils do extra activities of your own) Any feedback or future ideas would be fantastic (as it will be quite a long series!). Enjoy, and any questions, just ask. Merci !

[(KS2)/KS3/KS4] French Flash Cards - Idiomatic Expressions to develop creativity

« Mon meilleur ami parle français comme une vache espagnole ! » With sixty French idioms packed in this set of 120 cards, get your students to show off their creativity! The resource can be used for KS2, but is ideal for KS3 and (especially) KS4; you can make it a card game (some instructions are included in the pack to get started), get your students to self-quiz or to answer questions with specific words, make cards to peg in your classroom, create displays… Your imagination is the limit! You have access to both the double-sided and the card back versions to make it easy for you: just print/send to reprographics what you want, and it’s literally cut&go! (You would just have to fold the pages for the double-sided version before laminating/cutting). This set of cards include a ‘pictureless’ version and a ‘picture’ version; the picture version would help students remember the idioms in French (see sample). I really hope you will find it useful; idioms are such an important part of a given language! If you have any suggestions, please do let me know as I can update the content at any given time. Your reviews & advice are very much appreciated as I always thrive to improve my creations! Note: if you need (like me) more than one set, put a mark on them to avoid wasting time putting the sets back together! more sets in the making… coming soon! Merci beaucoup de votre visite ; any questions, just ask!

« Je voudrais être prof parce que c’est … … … intéressant ! » With more than a hundred adjectives packed in this set of 240 cards, get your students to ban the word above from their vocabulary (at least for a little while). The set contains varied adjectives to describe people, sport & activities, TV shows, town, school, food… and more! The resource can be used for KS2, but is ideal for KS3 and KS4; you can make it a card game (some instructions are included in the pack to get started), get your students to self-quiz or to answer questions with specific words, make cards to peg in your classroom, create displays… Your imagination is the limit! You have access to both the double-sided and the card back version to make it easy for you: just print/send to reprographics what you want, and it’s literally cut&go! (You would just have to fold the pages for the double-sided version before laminating/cutting) The cards aren’t filled with pictures and/or unnecessary texts to enable the students to focus on the words themselves. I really hope you will find it useful; it has worked wonders for me with a variety of groups I’ve taught both in France and the UK. If you have any suggestions, please let me know as I can update the content at any given time. Your reviews & advice are very much appreciated as I always thrive to improve my creations! Note: if you need (like me) more than one set, put a mark on them to avoid wasting time putting the sets back together! **A lot more sets in the making… coming soon! ** Merci beaucoup de votre visite ; any questions, just ask! V1.01: change of patterns underlined for the feminine words on the 120 French cards. V1.02: 10 more words added. V1.03: change flag into UK Many thanks for the feedback!
