There is an introduction to correlation and risk, with various activities to help understanding. As with all my lessons in this unit, there is a “do now” starter slide, focusing students’ recall of recent, less recent and more distant learning. The word doc of the booklet can be used as individual worksheets, or print the whole booklet out so students have a complete unit of work for revision purposes.

Although a bit of a pfaff cutting things out, this resource can be laminated for future use. I've found this invaluable for demonstrating how mRNA is translated into a protein. Students can make the link between tRNA antocodons being specific for the amino acid they carry, and the process of translation at the ribosome. I asked one class to do this as a stop-frame animation, resulting in a lovely film they could keep to remember the process. Best printed A3 and then laminated unless you LOVE cutting teeny things out. I've uploaded a film made by one of my students so you can see how it will look. Enjoy!!
