18 Powerpoints with questions, tasks , exam style questions, peer/self assessment guidance etc. to go with each double page spread of the Living World unit of the AQA G.C.S.E geography course textbook. Would provide a good basis on which to teach lessons. You may of course wish to edit/add your own slides/questions/videos etc to support/enhance what is included. Each PowerPoint should provide approximately 1 hours worth of work (Possibly a little less for the most able groups and possibly a little more for the least able groups). Includes: Intro to ecosystems How does change affect ecosystems Introducing global ecosystems Environmental characteristics of rainforests Causes of deforestation in Malaysia Impacts of deforesation in Malaysia Managing tropical rainforests Sustainable management of tropical rainforests Environmental characteristics of hot deserts Opportinuties for development in hot deserts Challenges of development in hot deserts Causes of desertification in hot deserts Reducing desertification in hot deserts Characteristics of cold environments Opportunities for development in Svalbard Challenges of development in Svalbard Cold environments under threat Managing cold environments
