This is a pack with 12 sections to stimulate spontaneous French conversations in small groups or in pairs.
Level: secondary up to GCSE/IGCSE exam level.
Useful for starters, independent work for students who need support to be able to find what to say in a conversation, or for those who are already conversant just needing talk triggers.
Each section is designed to become increasingly more stimulating so you can pick and choose any group to use this pack with, depending on their level. Project a section on the board, or print different sections matching your current topic of study.
There are sections that stimulate discussion using the perfect tense, the imperfect tense, the conditional tense, the subjunctive made easy, the near ans simple future tenses . . . and idiomatic expressions close each section.
Each section in the pack has already been proven to generate conversations that last up to 5 hours, although not all in one go!
Whatever you choose, you can just hand it to students and let them choose, with your guidance what to talk about.
The beauty is that you can ask the same questions again and again with different groups, or students can talk about the same topic with other students and there will always be different responses. IDEA: students report back about what their discussion was about. They can even write a created dialogue or a summary of the conversation . . .
Trialled on adults and teenagers, this powerful pack has been called ‘gold’!
