Using Computers Safely & Responsibly KS3 Computing SOLO Grid, Knowledge Organiser and Assessment

(0)
This KS3 Using Computers Safely & Responsibly resource comprises a SOLO Progress Tracking Grid for approximately six lessons, a corresponding Knowledge Organiser, a multiple choice Test and the Answers for the test. The resources are editable and so you can alter these to your specific curricular. **How to use this resource? ** The Knowledge Organiser and the SOLO Progress Tracking Grid are distributed amongst the students at the beginning of a Term. The SOLO Progress Tracking Grid that matches the Knowledge Organiser is used by the students and the teacher to monitor progress. The students are highlighting / underlining their progress on the Grid each lesson. The Knowledge Organiser Test is used at the end of the Term and will approximately take 40 minutes to complete. The Answers are used by the students to self-mark in class or the teacher to determine how well the students have achieved in this topic. I found it useful for the students to complete the KO test in one lesson and self mark it. The students then have converted their scores into a percentage and shared it with me. These tasks can be completed in one 40 – 50 minutes lesson. This resource has been successfully used in my KS3 classes, in an “Outstanding” school as rated by UK Ofsted.
