A 20 question worksheet and differentiated follow on activity to support A Perfect Planet - Volcanoes (BBC Documentary). The programme looks at how without volcanoes, there would be no life on Earth. Although destructive, magma from the planet’s molten core builds land, and mineral-rich ash from eruptions fertilises the surface. The worksheet has 20 questions, using a variety of question stems, that cover the full 50 minute documentary. To support staff a detailed answer sheet is included. I have also included a differentiated follow on worksheet for students to reflect on their learning from the documentary. David Attenborough outlines the threats that our planet are facing in different biomes before sharing key solutions, linked to case studies around the world.
