A mock test (with mark scheme) covering all aspects of the pre-release for the upcoming January 2021 examination in Global Information (Unit 2). This test is out of 74 marks and has a time limit of 80 minutes, although this may change depending on individual needs and whether you allow the use of notes. The mock is based wholly on the case study of PhWSSE which was issued by OCR in early November 2020. Ive been teaching this unit for several years and have written modules and mock exam papers for OCR. Please leave a review if possible

This is a mock test (with mark scheme) covering all aspects of the pre-release for the upcoming January 2021 examination for unit 3 cyber security based on the case study of Stevenson Research. This is for the Cambridge Technicals 2016 spec which is the latest release. This test is out of 62 marks and has a time limit of 70 minutes, although this may vary if using notes. IThe mock paper is based on all aspects that the pre-release relates to. This includes cyber security threats (LO2.1), the different types of hackers and their motivations (LO2) plus much more. Ive been teaching and producing mock papers for this unit for several years and have written modules and exam for OCR. Please leave a review if possible

This is a mock test covering all aspects of the pre-release for the upcoming May 2020 examination involving the Online Sports Retailer. This test is out of 97 marks and has a recommended time limit of 1h 45 minutes, although please feel free to adjust this as necessary. As it is based on the case study, it is important that you issue this to students first, as they will have to relate their answers to this. I’ve been teaching this unit ever since this was released and have had great success with this. I have also worked for different exam boards over the last few years and have worked directly for OCR creating a variety of modules.

This is a different resource to my other global information mock exam. This is focusing purely on section A and has a range of questions that are predicted to come up on the January 2020 exam. This relates to the response team pre-release information, and is out of 34 marks. I would recommend a time of 40 minutes to complete the exam, perhaps a few days before as a refresher after the Christmas break. Ive been teaching this unit for several years and have written modules and exam for OCR. If you are after a full mock, please find my other resource here - https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/ocr-technicals-level-3-unit-2-global-information-mock-jan-2020-12205009

This takes a look at Internet, intranet, extranet, chat rooms and forums and allows you to aid a discussion within your classroom. There are useful timings so that you are able to follow the lesson plan attached. I used this with a sixth form group but it is relevant to year 10 upwards who can hold and listen to different perspectives on the subject. There are a range of opportunities where you can embed E & D within this lesson. You may choose to print sections off so that students are able to write within the tables provided. This will assist you in your AFL targets within the lesson.
