This Resource was designed to be used as a Display Piece to inspire Students and Teachers, and support their wellbeing. It includes over 300 unique quote slips, which are sorted into ten categories, all of which can be easily printed. The Idea is that Students select a quote from the category based on what they are lacking at that time; for example if they need a confidence boost or some hope then they will take a quote from the relevant place. I recommend that you either sort the quotes into labelled envelopes attached to your display board, (images can be found online, if you search ‘Take what you need display boards’ on Pinterest) or into labelled jars, however the resource is extremely versatile so can be used in a vast range of ways. Categories include: Inspiration Motivation Hope Love Peace Positivity Patience Strength Kindness Confidence There is also a page of blank strips, where you can ask your students to write their own uplifting messages, and add them to the board, so they are able to support other individuals within the community. Ikigai is a Japanese Concept, which means ‘your reason of being’. This worksheet will help your Students consider their direction and purpose in life, to find a sense of meaning and find their reason why. This will help them envision their futures, think about what they want to do in their life, providing them with the motivation and incentive to reach for their dreams. It will also allow you to better understand your Students, and what they want for their future, giving you the ability to provide them with enrichment opportunities to help them reach their goals.
