KS3 Ocean Life Adaptation - Complete lesson and handout. This lesson looks at how different species have adapted to life in the ocean. It contains a starter, 2 mains tasks (one to match up adaptations with species and photos, and another to design an ‘ultimate ocean species’, and a plenary, which uses a clip from Blue Planet II. All answers are in the PowerPoint footnotes. Lesson will easily last for an hour, but can be extended much longer due to the nature of the second task.
