A simple booklet to record workshops provided by yourself for understanding using a sewing machine

This is a booklet which is designed to assist students documenting their progress through the unit of work. The end result is a square patchwork, with the applique technique. Idea: Teacher or KS4 student can sew all the patches together. Creates a nice collabrative project. Parts of the booklet have been taken off google, pinterest, doodlebook and designs I have picked up over the years.

COVID-19 Recovery Curriculum, limited materials needed

Students look at the work of Holly Levell and Lucy Sparrow - and make there own soft sculpture in the form of a favourite food. Students learn basic skills in hand sewing

Students learn how to use felt making tools and a 3D sculpture. Can be a group display.

Students create their own soft sculpture based on the idea of zombies. Students use a sewing machine to enable them to learn the technique of applique but also how to hand sew embellishments Students design there own zombie dolls and transform a 2D design into a 3D soft sculpture.
