I know I do. One night, while laying in bed, I came up with a fun idea for teaching certain concepts. Life-Size Game Boards. Pretty cool huh? To make this happen, you will need to do a little prep. However, it will be very worth it! -Make sure you have large dice, cups and the board game tiles. (I linked my affiliate links for these in the product if you need them!) -Print the clip art people, laminate and cut them out. Using binder clips, clip them to the cups. (See example pictures.) -Type the questions or information you want in the squares (the text boxes are provided) -(Optional) There are editable question cards provided in case you make a game that you need question cards. -Lay out the game board tiles in any formation that looks like a game board. -There are no extra cards with this one like my other games. The questions are on the board. -Use masking tape or packing tape, tape the cards to the tiles. Students will roll ONE die, and do the task on the board. If the student lands on a blank square, have them choose any task on the board to do. If the student gets it correct, they stay on the board. If the student misses, they go back to the beginning! First student to the end wins! Note: To edit, just type in the text boxes provided.

Use pumpkins to help teach procedural text! This set is engaging to kids and easy prep for the teacher! Below is a list of activities included! Pumpkin Passage: Read the passage and answer the questions. Planting a Pumpkin Card: Read the card so you will know the different steps for the pumpkin chain. Pumpkin Chain: Cut out the pieces of the chain and put them in order…making a chain. Pumpkin Photo Inference: Look at the pumpkin photo and make three inferences about the photo.

An easy to use Parts of Speech Flipbook! Includes 8 flaps (7 words and a title flap) for teaching Parts of Speech! Parts of Speech Included: Nouns Verbs Adverbs Pronouns Adjectives Conjunctions Prepositions Parts of Speech are not always easy to teach! This flipbook will help teach the concepts in a fun and interactive way. You can partner students up to have then assemble these, or you can assemble these for the students! My students keep these year round and refer to them often! Each flap includes the definition of the word and either a writing activity or example for the students. DETAILED instructions and assembly pictures are included to help you put together these flipbooks! You will notice when you download that some of the text is upside down, this is for a reason! Do not panic! :) My entire team has used these (without my help.) I just made them read the instructions and assemble. They found it very easy! Teaching the different types of poetry can be hard! I have the hardest time finding resources to teach my kids about Lyrical, Narrative, Humorous, and Free Verse Poems. I cannot find the right poems, or poems with questions, etc. I have created a product to help with that issue!
