Blank Revision Clock PDF

(3)
Who is it for? Students of any age that are preparing for exams or carrying out revision. What’s included? 1 PDF sheet of a blank revision clock. Can be easily adapted. A4 size but better to enlarge to A3 for students to write on. Why is it useful? This activity helps students to structure their revision into 5 minute blocks. How do I use this resource? I use this resource for homework throughout the GCSE course; sometimes I give students a bank copy and a general topic for them to go away and revise, sometimes I fill in a topic or question in each section of the clock. Please see my other resources. Feedback very welcome. Thankyou.

5 lists in 5 minutes: End of the Cold War

Who is it for? GCSE students studying Superpower Relations and the Cold War. What’s included? 5 separate PDF sheets of the 5 lists in 5 minutes activity. Why is it useful? This activity can be used at any stage in the GCSE course once knowledge of the topics has been covered; can be used both in class or as homework/revision. Topics in the 5 lists per sheet have been created with a focus on the GCSE Edexcel 9-1 specification (although could be used with other exam boards too) and taking into account what questions they will be expected to answer in the exam. This activity encourages knowledge retrieval and recall of the key features of the end of the Cold War. How do I use this resource? I use this resource as a starter activity. Students have 5 minutes to write down as much as hey know abut the topics in the list, followed by minute sharing and stealing from their partner. This is followed up by whole class discussion of the topics to ensure understanding and correcting any misconceptions. I use this same resource over and over again with the same classes to encourage regular knowledge recall of the topics. Please see my other resources. Feedback very welcome. Thankyou.
