#### Famous physicists display

Display with 11 famous scientists mainly involved with Physics! From Archimedes through Galileo, Hook, Newton, and on to Einstein. Very handy when teaching displacement etc so you can refer to the scientist. These posters have their historical dates and a brief Bio. Can be used as a frieze around a classroom. The other file has some historical occurrences you can put in between the scientists to get some historical context.

#### Pressure pupils work packfor common entrance and KS3

This is a pack that covers pressure and includes examples of things made to have a high and a low pressure, experiments into the pressure made by a rectangular block and by a pupil in different positions, sitting, standing and on the floor. Also includes graduated differentiation questions allowing the pupils to find their own level of challenge. We are afraid you have to provide your own lab equipment! (and pupils.....) There is also a user guide for you to get the most out of your pack. This is a publisher file so editable and a PDF version. Thoughts, comments or suggestions to hoppersphysics@sky.com

#### Energy transfer test 1

A sequence of little experiments (although this does not have to be an experimental activity) you can use to asses the pupils ability to spot the different energies involved in some unusual transfers. Suitable for KS3, ISEB common entrance and middle school. Find more energy transfer work at https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/Hoppersphysics

#### 15 Density and pressure multiple choice questions

covering use of the density and pressure formulae, one or two tricks like the man at a party when you are given the area of one of his feet and the calculation of an area and a volume. A nice quick start to a lesson, easy to peer mark or do from the board.

#### Density Mandala

A prearranged density mandala to help pupils summarize the key density experimental methods as well as the rule of floating and the uses of density. Suitable for common entrance.

#### Density pupils pack for KS3 and common entrance

This is a handout to give to pupils while you work through density for Common entrance or ks3 with the different learning objectives and skills they will use clearly shown. Covering how to find the density of a block, a liquid and an irregular solid as well as what density is and floating as a density rule. There are graduated differentiation tasks included to help those who need more reinforcement as well as those who need stretching. Sorry you will have to provide your own lab equipment! #### Revision videos for key stage 3 physics on youtube

The video here explains current in a parallel circuit. Good to review what happens with current splitting. More videos at the link below. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtqU2gzKXwiDP4GpSZVlDCA
