I have over 10 years in the teaching profession, specialising in maths. During this time I have found a lack of whole class interactive learning resources. I hope that my resources will help your classrooms become a more interesting place to learn. My paid for resources will all have a free evaluation copy, so that you can try them before purchasing. The evaluation copies all stop after a few minutes, and will need restarting to look at the evaluation copy again.

Students love this. Use this on the interactive whiteboard to challenge the students. How many times tables questions can be completed in 90 seconds. This is an Excel macro-enabled spreadsheet that speaks the questions and writes them. Helps with auditory processing skills too. Use the on-screen pad to type the answers. A free resource because I know how important it is to learn your times tables.

This gives four arithmetic questions that are easier and four that are harder. The file is enabled by macros so it will automatically change the date. There are 3 shapes, one for new questions, one to show the answers and one to hide the answers. Great for a 5 minute quiet starter to lessons.

Here is one option to solve that problem. This generates a worksheet of fractions where the addition and subtraction always gives answers less than 1. The sheet is written on Excel and is macro enabled to produce a sheet of new questions every time you press the oval button. One copy for the students, then press the triangle and print out a copy for yourself. This can lso be used on the IWB to show some questions on the board, and then show the answers.

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE, TRY THE EVALUATION COPY FIRST, SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. This is an interactive spreadsheet that allows students to see how many mental arithmetic fractions questions they can answer in 2 minutes. Questions are generated, and rarely repeat Voice also reads the questions so can improve auditory processing. In addition a list of 10 similar questions can be made and printed. Click start, and use the screen keypad to write the answers. Avoid using the normal keyboard, because a non-numeric value causes the program to crash. Watch the students go quiet as they try to answer the questions.

This generates a division sum with an integer answer, then takes the user through each stage of the sum, highlighting the relevant numbers for each step. Good to use on the IWB because it never gets tired of repeating each step, just tap the button for the next step of the sum. Good for auditory processing with the built in commentary.
