I retired in April 2009 after 21 years as a headteacher in a North Yorkshire primary school. During the following year I completed my Doctorate in Education (EdD) and began teaching Children's Literature (EA300). with the Open University. I am also a supply teacher and enjoy the challenges and flexibility of part-time teaching.
