About
Kat has been touring secondary schools for over 20 years with shows and workshops tailor-made to support the curriculum for GCSE and A-Level Drama. Workshops include practitioners, devising and set text study. The shows over the years have included ‘Woyzeck,’ ‘Metamorphosis,’ ‘Fall of the House of Usher’ ‘The Good Person of Szechwan’ and ‘Fear and Misery of the Third Reich’ (applying Brecht, Berkoff and Artaud) Kat regularly leads CPD courses and was delighted to have been a guest speaker at the London Drama and Music Expo in Jan 2025. She will next speak at the Drama Matters Networking Weekend in July, alongside writing an article for the group.
Having worked in over 200 schools, Kat is now currently writing a series of online courses to assist Drama Teachers with the curriculum requirements covering set texts, practitioners, devising and rehearsal techniques. Her YouTube channel, Facebook page and group also offers specialist tips and hints.
