Problem Solving Lesson
1. Area of Sector 2. Area of Triangle 3. Finding an angle using Cosine Rule and using all/some of the skills to answer the 4. Area of the Segment
New 9-1 Maths GCSE Problem Solving Question : Geometry - Grades 7-9 worksheet requires students to research different Skills and use the learning to answer the problem solving question using the skills learnt. The teacher role is just of a prompter...All the lesson is independently conducted by students. It can be adapted and used for one-one activity, paired or group work....By the end of the lessons students should have learn't the following skills and use them for problem solving questions... :
1. Area of Sector 2. Area of Triangle 3. Finding an angle using Cosine Rule and using all/some of the skills to answer the 4. Area of the Segment
How to allow students to combine the skills they learn't to do a multi-stage question...
(Please kindly give constructive feedback...I have used it with my students and has worked very well but I would like to know if it helps other teachers...)
