Tabs Worksheet

(0)
The purpose of this exercise is to familiarise learners with the environment of the Office software suite. By exploring the ribbon and tabs in each software, learners understand how the program is set up and where to find particular commands. (I like to compare it to a house with multiple rooms, which each have many storage locations each for specific items.) When giving this task I encourage learners to resize each software so only the ribbon is visible of each and so they are also practicing the skill of managing a range of windows. Additionally teaching how to pin a program to the taskbar is also helpful at this stage. So lots of important skills being developed here!
