'Fitness by chance' game

(0)
An excellent competitive alternative to a fitness circuit- ideal for large groups and as a wet weather activity! Resource consists of 9 station cards (athlete inspired) and 144 mini cards. Mini cards are placed face down in the centre of sports hall (or equivalent) and station cards are dotted around room. Students work independently or in pairs to collect a mini card. They must then find the station card with the matching athlete. Mini cards are numbered, indicating how many repetitions of the activity they must do at the station. They then return for another card etc... Students keep hold of their completed mini cards and count up the points gained at the end of the activity (points are indicated in a star symbol on each mini card, relevant to how hard the exercise is). The winner (s) is the one with the most points! All cards include a GB athlete/sportsman/sportswoman.
