The idea is that students listen (usually on their own phone) and repeat the sounds and words and sentences. In the Far East they are very keen on drilling and find it helpful. I delivered it via mobile to groups of students who had paid $60 each for this course and their homework was to use their voice recording function on their phone and read the sentences out in the group for everyone to hear and for me to comment on.
