This is a comprehensive overview of safeguarding that is required for the induction of new staff and the update of training that a trainer like myself would use as the basis for the 3 yearly safeguarding training update required for all staff working in schools. Topics covered include types of abuse, contextual safeguarding, procedures in schools, working practices, reporting and the responsibilities of all staff and volunteers in school. A great resource for supporting your staff with required training and information to refer to post training.

This is a short, 30 minute, training session for staff or could be used to present to governors. It includes the relevant information for staff and governors, broken down into easy steps for different stakeholders in their roles. This is the perfect resource to support school leaders and DSLs with training staff or for school based staff to better understand their responsibilities around keeping children safe.
